Hello everyone! Cookies are an excellent dessert. My younger brother loves them, I have made him cookies in different flavors and shapes. One of his favorite cookies are guava jam cookies, these are easy to make and don't require a lot of ingredients.
Ingredients:
5 tablespoons sugar
2 cups wheat flour
Vanilla
Guava jam
Milk
1 tablespoon of oil

Step 1: Add sugar. I used 4 tablespoons of sugar and a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Incorporate this.

Step 2: then add the vanilla and milk, beat.

Step 3: We start adding the wheat flour previously sifted and adding milk and beat until the dough is consistent.

Step 4: When the dough is consistent, it is now to begin to knead and add flour until it is like this.

Step 5: This is something I do to the cookies, it is optional. After kneading, I add a tablespoon of sugar and knead to incorporate. This gives it a nice touch that I like.

Step 6: When we have the dough ready, it's time to start assembling the cookies. We take a ball of dough and open it carefully and add the guava jam, you can add as much as you want. Then we make it into a ball.

Note: The dough is a little sticky and these cookies, although they look small, expand and can stick together. You have to separate them when you put them in the tray.
Step 7: After making all the balls, they expand and we decorate them with a little guava jam and powdered sugar. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Step 8: Cool and taste! Look how nice and big they got!

As much as I separated the cookies on the tray, they almost stuck together, they grew quite large.

They grew quite a bit! They were delicious and don't take much time, plus kids love this kind of desserts!

I hope you liked this recipe! bye bye bye!
