1 loaf of bread, can be whole grain (optional)
100 g brie cheese
50 g smoked turkey meat
4-5 leaves iceberg lettuce
6-7 cherry tomatoes, cut in half
Mayonnaise or mustard (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
To make such a sandwich, you need to cut the bread so that you can put the products inside it. I advise you to take the brie cheese out of the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking, so that it softens slightly. This will make it easier to cut it. If necessary, cut the smoked turkey meat into smaller pieces. Wash the iceberg lettuce leaves well and dry them with kitchen paper. Then cut them into thin strips. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
Take the bread and spread it with a little mayonnaise or mustard (if desired). This will add extra flavor and help the ingredients stick better to the bread. Then place the brie cheese on the spread. Spread it evenly to cover the entire surface. Place the smoked turkey pieces on top of the brie cheese. Make sure they are also evenly distributed to form the sandwich and not fall off. Add the chopped iceberg lettuce leaves on top of the smoked turkey. They add freshness and crunch to the sandwich. Finally, add the halved cherry tomatoes on top of the rest of the ingredients. Their sweet and juicy flavor will complement the rest of the ingredients. You can sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Finally, press lightly to seal all the layers. If you plan to take the sandwich with you to the office, like me :) wrap it in aluminum foil or put it in a lunch box. This will keep the sandwich fresh and ready to eat during the day.
Bon appetit and have a good working day! :)
