A visit to Rupert & Rothschild Estate

Just a few days left in the Cape so my son took me to Rupert & Rothschild

This place was recommended by my daughter Eden as she had been there some time back.

They were busy renovating the restaurant so they set up in one of their entertainment halls. There were only two tables set and we had our own waitress who looked after only our table.

Seem like we were once again blessed to enjoy something like this with only one other table available.

The food was excellent albeit small helpings - perfect for me but I believe Lee would have enjoyed a bigger portion.

For those who are interested, here is the menu - shortened due to their renovations of the restaurant

We weren't able to explore as it was bitterly cold even though the sun was shining.

Sort:

It looks to be a nice place, Christine, and let me say that I like your picture in a hat ( you in a hat, not the picture 🤣). What was difficult in the moment - to imagine bitterly cold weather now in Greece. We have nearly +30 now, and it is nearly night!
