Hello, friends especially foodies!
On our last short visit to Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia, we stayed in a hotel which was located in Bukit Bintang area. This area is well known as a shopping center area. So in order to have dinner with Pavilion Shopping Center view, after we came there to check in, we right away came to a café right at its’ front.
The café is located in a desolated mall named Star Hill, right in front of pavilion. A bit difficult to find our way there but fortunately we could find it soon. When we arrived at the café, COME TRUE, good thing that it was not yet 6 pm so the café wouldn’t be crowded at that time.

Before entering the café, at its’s around we could see some of this café menus like croissant brunch such as imitation crab with mash potato, golden soft shell crab, and avocado prawn; main course for 5 pm-9pm such as pan-fried salmon fillet with Chef special sauce, stew lamb shank, and sous-vide herb duck breast.

They also had creative coffee they named lavender mist and soufflé pancake with some variant such as brown sugar bubble tea, and caramelized brûlée.

When we entered the cafe, only a little customers sat in their indoor dining area.

They didn’t have a large outdoor area but lucky for us we got the place right in front of the iconic Pavilion shopping center. Sorry for not taking a picture of their narrow outdoor dining area.

Now let me tell you about all of their menu. Quite vary for a cafe. They had brunch menus like fried chicken with avocado sourdough croissant, golden soft shell crab sourdough croissant, sous-vide herb chicken sourdough toast, and avocado prawn sourdough toast.

For salad, they had apple soups-vide chicken and seared duck breast. And for creative pizza, they had classic country tomato, Japanese teriyaki beef, cherry duck & spring onion, and Japanese grilled eel and strawberry.

They also had pasta in some variants such as sesame oil chicken in Taiwan style, creamy smoked duck breast, seafood in tomato orange sauce, creamy chicken basil pesto, seafood curry laksa, and truffle carbonara chicken.

For rainbow rice they had soups-vide herb chicken, sea salt original squid, roasted salted mackerel, and pan-seared duck leg.

For main course they had pan-fried salmon filet with chef special sauce, stew lamb shank, sous-vide herb duck breast, and sirloin angus steak.

For bite to share category, they had pan fried cauliflower with cream cheese, fried chicken with numbing spicy sauce, crispy golden squid, truffle fries, avocado prawn, and Italian seafood tomato soup with sourdough bread.

For soufflé pancake, they had variants like brown sugar bubble tea, Japanese Shizuoka matcha, caramelize brûlée, summer mango, pink lady strawberry soufflé, and caramelized banana with cocoa.

They put a bottle of drink water on each table, and we didn’t want to drink something sweet that day so we skipped their drink menu. I would just tell you a bit about it. Like other cafe they had kind of coffee of course, tea, smoothie, and also what different than other cafe, they had mocktail.

Not a long time after ordering, the first menu arrived. Well would like to tell you that that day we only ordered their best seller menu. From this picture could you tell me what’s the name of this menu?

Yes, in pasta category, you would find this, as one of the most favorite menu, and I can’t find it anywhere too. Here is TRUFFLE CARBONARA CHICKEN.

The fettuccine served with chef special black truffle cream sauce with tender chicken thighs. Well, we could taste the truffle, very authentic. The fettuccine was well done, not hard nor too soft, the taste of it was savory with the authentic flavor of black truffle. The chicken were soft and juicy. This menu is recommended when you wanna try pasta with truffle touch, well I could say it amazed us cause it was beyond our expectation.
When I enjoyed the first menu, the second most popular menu we ordered arrived, it was FRIED CHICKEN WITH NUMBING SPICY SAUCE

Going to tell you that the fried chicken were the best. It didn’t have any bone anymore, thigh part, deep fried with tasty a bit crunchy texture in its’ outer skin but juicy smooth inside. It had tasty savory flavor. While my husband loved the sauce, I was in his opposite. The numb sauce like had mala in it and it had too much spices so it didn’t smell and taste any good for me, it’s not my thing. But you know I still recommend this menu because they put the sauce separately with the chicken so there’s nothing to be worry about. This menu also best!
