In addition, the apple provided a contrast that balanced the softness of the brownie, I liked knowing that it was a healthier option and we enjoyed it here at home without any guilt, I recommend it to my friends.
Hoy les traigo una receta que me animé a preparar para participar en el concurso de hive Top Chef @qurator. Aquí el enlace de esta semana https://peakd.com/qurator/@qurator/qurators-hive-top-chef-or-chocolate-t46g44, se trata de un brownie de manzana y dátiles que me sorprendió gratamente, su textura era densa y húmeda, como se espera de un buen brownie, pero con un toque frutal que lo hacía único. La dulzura natural de los dátiles equilibraba perfectamente la acidez de la manzana, creando una mezcla deliciosa que no resultó empalagosa. Además, la manzana aportaba un contraste que equilibró la suavidad del brownie, me gustó saber que era una opción más saludable y disfrutamos acá en casa sin culpa alguna, se los recomiendo amigos.

We start by transferring the dates to a pot with the glass of water and take them to the stove, bring to a boil, let them rest and strain, reserving the water for later use.
Comenzamos trasladando los dátiles a una olla con el vaso de agua y los llevamos a la hornilla de la cocina, dejamos hervir, dejamos reposar y colamos, reservamos el agua para utilizarla más adelante.
While the dates are cooling, take the apples and remove the skin and seeds, then cut into small squares to make it easier to blend.
Mientras tanto enfrían los dátiles, tomamos las manzanas y le quitamos la piel y las semillas, seguidamente cortamos en cuadros pequeños para facilitar su licuado.
Next, transfer the apple squares to the blender beaker.
Seguidamente, trasladamos los cuadros de manzana al vaso de la licuadora.
Add the previously strained dates to the blender cup.
Adicionamos al vaso de la licuadora los dátiles previamente colados.
Now add to the blender cup, one by one, the whole eggs together with the dates and the apple squares.

I then add the baking powder and cocoa powder together with the ingredients described above.

Finally, add the vanilla essence along with three tablespoons of the reserved date water and shake the blender to blend on high.

If you notice that the mixture does not come together, add more spoonfuls of the water from the dates; do not overdo it and leave it too watery, it should be very smooth.

Now we grease and flour the baking dish and add our mixture that has already been smooth and homogeneous.
