Hay recomendaciones que simplemente llegan gracias al algoritmo de Instagram y resultan ser muy atinadas, mucho más que las recomendaciones hechas por otras personas; sobre ese particular les tengo una historia que pronto les compartiré. Pero volviendo al tema principal de esta publicación, ha resultado que una de las sugerencias acertadas ha sido Menú Salvaje.
Desde el primer momento me llamó muchísimo la atención la variedad de comida que ofrecían, pues se pasean por comida china, hamburguesas, alitas barbecue y un menú de pastas. De hecho, una persona me dijo que quizá el restaurante no sería lo que esperaba porque es difícil que, cuando un centro de comida ofrece tanta variedad, sean realmente buenos. A pesar de este comentario, quise darme una oportunidad con Menú Salvaje.
There are recommendations that simply come up thanks to Instagram's algorithm and turn out to be very accurate, much more so than recommendations made by other people; I have a story about that which I will share with you soon. But back to the main topic of this post, it turns out that one of the best suggestions has been Menú Salvaje.
From the very beginning, I was very impressed by the variety of food they offered, as they serve Chinese food, hamburgers, barbecue wings, and a pasta menu. In fact, someone told me that the restaurant might not be what I expected because it's difficult for a food court to be really good when it offers so much variety. Despite this comment, I wanted to give Menú Salvaje a chance.
Estuve viendo su Instagram y varios influencers de la zona tenían reseñas positivas sobre el lugar, pero ya bien sabemos que muchos de estos influencers simplemente reciben dinero para decir que todo es excelente, aunque no lo sea.
Otro aspecto que me pareció interesante sobre Menú Salvaje fue que los precios son bastante accesibles comparados con la competencia y, al encontrarse en la ciudad de Lechería, no es común conseguir restaurantes con precios más económicos. Estuve revisando su menú y decidí que probaría las pastas, pues se mostraban porciones grandes y lucían apetitosas.
Así que llena de dudas y expectativas llegué al lugar esperando que todo estuviera excelente, y así fue. Aunque era más de la una de la tarde, el lugar estaba vacío; debo confesarles que esto no me dio buena espina, pero luego entendí que la gente llega a almorzar mucho más tarde. Ordené una pasta carbonara y una pasta marinera; ya iba con esa idea en mente luego de haber estudiado el menú con antelación.
I was looking at their Instagram and several local influencers had positive reviews about the place, but we all know that many of these influencers are simply paid to say that everything is excellent, even if it isn't.
Another aspect that I found interesting about Menú Salvaje was that the prices are quite affordable compared to the competition, and since it is located in the city of Lechería, it is not common to find restaurants with lower prices. I was reviewing their menu and decided to try the pasta, as the portions looked large and appetizing.
So, full of doubts and expectations, I arrived at the place hoping that everything would be excellent, and it was. Although it was after 1:00 p.m., the place was empty. I must confess that this did not give me a good feeling, but then I understood that people arrive for lunch much later. I ordered a carbonara pasta and a seafood pasta. I already had that idea in mind after studying the menu in advance.
Me sorprendió que el tiempo de espera fuera bastante corto; el tipo de pasta era diferente, lo cual me encantó, una más delgada que otra; les debo el nombre porque la verdad no me sé. Otra grata sorpresa fue la cantidad de proteína que tenía cada pasta. La carbonara estaba súper cremosa y rebosaba de tocineta; también tenía una buena cantidad de queso parmesano.
I was surprised that the wait time was quite short; the pasta was different, which I loved, one thinner than the other; I owe you the name because I honestly don't know it. Another pleasant surprise was the amount of protein in each pasta dish. The carbonara was super creamy and overflowing with bacon; it also had a good amount of Parmesan cheese.
En cuanto a la salsa marinera, estuvo exquisita; por cierto, no crean que me comí los dos platillos (lol), siempre me gusta compartir con quienes voy a comer y esta ocasión no fue la excepción. Los camarones de la salsa estaban deliciosos y el langostino que coronaba la pasta, además de lucir genial, estaba exquisito y ni hablar de los ricos calamares. El profundo sabor de esta salsa marina me dejó encantada.
As for the marinara sauce, it was exquisite. By the way, don't think I ate both dishes (lol), I always like to share with those I eat with, and this occasion was no exception. The shrimp in the sauce were delicious, and the prawns that topped the pasta not only looked great but were also exquisite, not to mention the delicious calamari. I was enchanted by the deep flavor of this marinara sauce.
En este restaurante no escatiman con las salsas; cada centímetro de pasta queda perfectamente cubierto, los sabores son intensos, tal vez por eso se hacen llamar salvajes. Te recomiendo Menú Salvaje con los ojos cerrados; aunque solo he probado las pastas, presiento que todo el mundo debe de ser delicioso. ¡Sin duda volveré a este lugar, muy pronto!
This restaurant doesn't skimp on the sauces; every inch of pasta is perfectly covered, and the flavors are intense, which is perhaps why they call themselves “wild.” I recommend the Wild Menu with my eyes closed; although I've only tried the pasta, I have a feeling that everything must be delicious. I'll definitely be back to this place very soon!
