Apenas el día 19 de diciembre del año pasado conocí por vez primera algunos de los platillos del restaurante Menú Salvaje de Lechería y hoy volví para celebrar otro cumpleaños, en esta ocasión el de mi querida madre. Ella es una amante de la pasta, así que luego de haber probado lo deliciosa que es la pasta en este lugar, me pareció buena idea llevarla a conocer este sitio; está segura de que también le gustaría.
Casualmente, me atendió la misma mesera de la primera vez, así que el servicio, nuevamente, fue excelente. Le comenté a mi mamá que en este lugar tienen oferta variada de comida como hamburguesas, comida china y pasta, y obviamente me dijo que deseaba comer pasta. Para ella pedí una pasta filleto con camarones y yo quise probar una hamburguesa que me llamó la atención y se trataba de la Korean BTS. El pedido de pasta llegó primero y la joven mesera me informó que, como en mi caso se trataba de una hamburguesa especial, tardaría un poco más. Se ofreció a traer un cubierto extra suponiendo que mi mamá y yo íbamos a compartir la pasta...y bueno, no se equivocó. Algo que amo de comer en la calle es poder pedir platos diferentes y probar un poco de todo.
It was only on December 19 last year that I first tried some of the dishes at the Menú Salvaje restaurant in Lechería, and today I returned to celebrate another birthday, this time my dear mother's. She loves pasta, so after tasting how delicious the pasta is at this place, I thought it would be a good idea to bring her here; I'm sure she would like it too.
Coincidentally, I was served by the same waitress as the first time, so the service was excellent once again. I told my mom that this place had a varied menu, including burgers, Chinese food, and pasta, and she obviously said she wanted to eat pasta. I ordered her a pasta filleto with shrimp, and I wanted to try a burger that caught my eye, the Korean BTS. The pasta arrived first, and the young waitress informed me that, since my order was a special hamburger, it would take a little longer. She offered to bring extra cutlery, assuming that my mom and I were going to share the pasta...and well, she was right. Something I love about eating out is being able to order different dishes and try a little bit of everything.
La pasta estuvo realmente deliciosa; de verdad que este lugar me sigue sorprendiendo. Tenía una gran cantidad de camarones y salsa roja; por cierto, también se puede pedir en salsa blanca. La pasta está en su punto y la porción de pasta es bastante generosa. De hecho, jamás pensé que mi mamá se iba a comer todo ese gran plato de pasta; yo solo la ayudé un poquito, y pues se lo comió todo. ¡Estaba exquisita!
En cuanto a la hamburguesa, está hecha con pan de batata y un muslo empanizado al estilo coreano, con salsa especial coreana, queso amarillo y tocineta. Viene envuelta en un clásico papel encerado y tiene un buen tamaño. También compartí con mi mamá este manjar y la encontró exquisita.
The pasta was really delicious; this place never ceases to amaze me. It comes with lots of shrimp and red sauce; you can also order it with white sauce, by the way. The pasta is cooked to perfection and the portion is quite generous. In fact, I never thought my mom would eat that whole big plate of pasta; I just helped her a little, and she ate it all. It was delicious!
As for the burger, it's made with sweet potato bread and a Korean-style breaded thigh, with special Korean sauce, yellow cheese, and bacon. It comes wrapped in classic wax paper and is a good size. I also shared this delicacy with my mom, and she found it delicious.
Menú Salvaje no deja de sorprenderme positivamente; es un lugar ideal para comer y más si se trata de la celebración de una fecha especial. Los precios también son solidarios, más aún por estar ubicado en una ciudad como Lechería, que no es una ciudad donde existan muchos restaurantes realmente asequibles. La pasta con camarones tuvo un precio de $6.80, la hamburguesa tuvo un valor de $4.99 y las papas costaron $1.20; que vale destacar, estaban bien crujientes.
Menú Salvaje never ceases to surprise me positively; it's an ideal place to eat, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion. The prices are also reasonable, even more so considering it's located in a town like Lechería, which isn't a place where there are many truly affordable restaurants. The shrimp pasta was priced at $6.80, the hamburger was $4.99, and the fries were $1.20; it's worth noting that they were nice and crispy.
Hasta el momento, todo, absolutamente todo lo que he probado en este restaurante me ha maravillado; ya me he convertido en fan de este buen restaurante.
So far, everything, absolutely everything I've tried at this restaurant has amazed me; I've already become a fan of this great restaurant.
