En estas fechas navideñas es común en México recibir de algunas amistades algunas comidas que son elaboradas y obsequiadas como muestra de amor para ser disfrutada en familia.
Desde que inicia el mes de diciembre entre posadas y festejos previos a la navidad se disfrutan de algunos manjares.
Si vas a las posadas difícilmente regresas a casa sin un plato repleto de comida para el recalentado, así suelen decirle.

On Christmas🎅 day I went to take some ham bread to my neighbor and she invited me to come in and taste some of her dishes, the truth is that I was just finishing dinner and she insisted that I take a dish served by her daughter to enjoy it later at home.
So on December 25, between what the neighbors sent and what I prepared, I decided to put everything at the inn and let everyone serve themselves whatever they wanted at home.
Estaban tan deliciosas que no las compartí con nadie jeje eran las primeras del año, por lo que me gano el egoísmo, yo sin sentimiento de culpa las disfrute al máximo en el desayuno.
El día de Navidad🎅 me acerque a llevarle un poco de pan de Jamón a mi vecina y ella me invito a pasar y a degustar alguno de sus platillos, la verdad que estaba acabando yo de cenar y ella insistió que me llevará un plato servido por su hija para que lo disfrutara luego en casa.
Así que el 25 de diciembre entre lo enviado por los vecinos y lo que yo prepare decidí poner todo en el mesón y que cada uno en casa se sirviera lo que deseará.
There was turkey, pork leg, ham bread, hallacas, chicken salad, potato soufflé, wrapped children, baked plantains and for dessert, bread pudding, fruit cocktail, brownie, cookies.
The best of all is that they were very elaborate meals that are enjoyed only at this time of the year. This combination of Venezuelan and Mexican gastronomy was great.
Everything was delicious, the truth is that I enjoyed every dish a little bit of everything and without guilt or remorse hehe to acquire a few extra kilos this month.

Había pavo, pernil, pan de jamón, hallacas, ensalada de gallina, soufflé de papas, niño envuelto, plátanos horneados y de postres budín de pan, coctel de frutas, brownie, galletas.
Lo mejor de todo es que eran comidas muy elaboradas y que se disfrutan solo en esta temporada del año. Esta combinación de la gastronomía venezolana y mexicana estuvo genial.
Todo estaba delicioso, la verdad que disfrute mucho cada platillo un poco de todo y sin culpa ni remordimiento jeje de adquirir unos kilos demás en este mes.
