Today's activity is just staying at home and looking in the kitchen at what I have to make to increase my appetite. In this hot summer, what's delicious to cook...then I take sago flour and cook it.

To make the dish, add sago flour to boiling water and stir until evenly mixed until the sago flesh is just cooked. I also peeled the coconut and grated the coconut meat to make coconut milk as a side dish for sago. But before that, I cooked the coconut milk first, sliced some bananas and cooked them in coconut milk. I waited a few minutes until the process was complete or cooked.

Sorry because my cooking process wasn't fast enough to take photos, once it was ready to be served I just held my cellphone and was able to take several photos of what had been served.

Sago is also known as one of the staple foods of Indonesian people, especially those living in Eastern Indonesia. This food comes from the stems of weeds or often called sago trees and can be processed into various kinds of appetizing dishes.

Sago flour that is ready to be consumed is often processed into food such as porridge which is served with ordinary side dishes. Apart from that, sago flour is also widely processed into traditional snacks. The content of sago is almost the same as rice and is even healthier to consume. Sago is actually very easy to digest and absorb by the body.

The advantage of sago is that it is low in gluten, so it is good as a flour substitute for people with celiac disease and those on a strict diet. Sago is also known to be rich in antioxidants which are useful for capturing free radicals.
