Hello, hello friends of Foodies Bee Hive! I hope you are having a great weekend. During these days I've been getting a little more involved in the kitchen, and learning about different recipes, so today I want to share with you the step by step of a totally homemade pizza🍕. This post is not just another recipe, but a little piece of me, and what I'm loving: learning. Most people like pizza, so preparing them is an excellent option when we want to taste something different and full of flavor.
Without further ado, let's go to kitchen👩🏻🍳!

- 4 tazas de harina todo uso.
- 1 cucharada de sal.
- 1 taza de agua tibia.
- 1 cucharada de azucar.
- 2 cucharadas de polvo de hornear (lo usamos en sustitución de la levadura)
- 2 1⁄2 cucharada de aceite.
- 1 lata de maiz dulce.
- 300 gr de queso mozzarella (Puede ser más o menos según su preferencia)
- 200 gr de jamón de pierna.
- 200 gr de salsa para pizza.
- 4 cups all-purpose flour.
- 1 tablespoon salt.
- 1 cup of warm water.
- 1 tablespoon sugar.
- 2 tablespoons of baking powder (we use it instead of yeast).
- 2 1⁄2 tablespoons of oil.
- 1 can of sweet corn.
- 300 gr of mozzarella cheese (it can be more or less according to your preference).
- 200 gr of leg ham.
- 200 gr of pizza sauce.

Comenzaremos agregando en un envace grande el harina de trigo tamizada. Luego haremos un un volcan en medio y añadimos la sal, el azúcar, el polvo de hornear y el aceite. Esto lo revolveremos. | Start by adding the sifted flour in a large bowl. Then we will make a volcano in the middle and add the salt, the sugar, the baking powder and the oil. We will stir it. |

Una vez hayamos mezclado esos ingredientes agregaremos el agua tibia poco a poco, e iremos moviendo hasta integrar y que se vaya formando una masa compacta, suave y manejable. Amasamos por unos 5 minutos o hasta que consideremos este bien, podemos pasarla a la mesa si se nos hace más comodo, espolvoreando harina en la superficie para que no se pegue. Una vez este lista dejaremos reposar por media hora, poniendole algo de aceite por encima. | Once we have mixed these ingredients we will add the warm water little by little, and we will move until we integrate and form a compact, soft and manageable dough. We knead for about 5 minutes or until we consider this well, we can move it to the table if it makes us more comfortable, sprinkling flour on the surface so it does not stick. Once it is ready we will let it rest for half an hour, putting some oil on top. |

Cuando haya pasado la media hora cortaremos la masa a la mitad. Vamos a trabajar con una mientras la otra la dejamos reposar. Espolvoreando nuevamente harina en la superficie, amasamos solo un poco más y procedemos a estirar la masa hasta que quede más o menos del tamaño de la bandeja que usaremos, esta no debe de quedar ni muy gruesa ni muy delgada. | When half an hour has passed, cut the dough in half. We will work with one half while the other half is left to rest. Sprinkle flour again on the surface, knead just a little more and proceed to stretch the dough until it is more or less the size of the tray we will use, it should not be too thick or too thin. |

Tomaremos nuestra bandeja, espolvoreamos harina en ella y ponemos allí la masa ya estirada, pueden cortar un poco los bordes si así lo desean. En nuestro caso, usamos una bandeja pequeña, por ello tambien hemos dividido la masa. | We will take our tray, sprinkle flour on it and put there the dough already stretched, you can cut a little the edges if you wish. In our case, we used a small tray, so we have also divided the dough. |
¡Ahora viene la mejor parte!
¡Now comes the best part!
We are going to add on our dough a good amount of pizza sauce, then add the previously grated mozzarella cheese, the diced ham and the desired amount of corn. I am in favor of more is better in these cases, but the head chef controlled me (my mom🤭).
Remember the other part of the dough? Well, we repeated the previous stretching and preparation procedure, using as an alternative a square pan, since it was the one we had at hand.
Once our pizzas are ready, we take them to the preheated oven at 180 degrees. The cooking time in our case was approximately 20 to 25 minutes, but this may change depending on the oven. The important thing is to be attentive that they do not burn, for them you can lift them a little to see how the dough looks underneath.

This recipe is one of the ones I was most looking forward to prepare, because I had been craving for a pizza for a long time and preparing it at home was like a “challenge” for that craving🤭. Not to brag, but it was quite delicious and the smell alone made our mouths water. In total we had 8 portions (4 of each).
I invite you to prepare the pizza at home, I promise you will not regret it, because this way we can put the amount of main ingredients to our whim (such as cheese or ham😅).
