Its been a long while since my I last made a cooking post here. Thought I should do give it go. I sometimes love to take a recipe and make something I dont usually cook. Since I had noodeles and teriyaki sauce already, I searched for a recipe including these ingredients and found the Chicken Teriyaki and Soy Sauce Stir Fry. Went shopping and got myself all the other needed ingredients.
- Noodles
- Chicken breast
- Bell pepper
- Champignons
- Broccoli
- Cabbage
- Red onion
- Teriyaki sauce
- Soy sauce
- Sesame seeds
- Black pepper
Everything on this photo
I usually start by chopping all the vegetables, otherwise I might burn someting else on the pan in the meantime.
Being done with the vegetables I put chicken breast on the pan. It was already cut to pieces in the package so I didnt have to do it before. I didnt use anything other for seasoning except black pepper.
After a couple of minutes I added red onion to the chicken because onion takes a bit of time to soften up. Then I also put the noodles in a boiling water. Chow mein noodles to be exact, it only takes about 5 min to be ready. I didnt add any salt because teriyaki and soy sauce already has quite a lot of salt in it.
Soon noodles were ready and I added all the other vegetables on the pan. Also about 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and 3 tablespoons worth of soy sauce. Then let it fry about 5 more minutes and regularly stirred the stuff. My pan is quite small, a bit annoying haha.
When all the vegetables were soft enough I mixed everything together in a pot with noodles. It didnt look very presentable in the so I skipped the photo.
I served the dinner on a plate and put on some sesame seeds. This is a finished product and tasted really good. Now I have 3 evenings worth of chicken teriyaki and soy sauce stir fry.
