Hello foodies of hive,
I had a chance to meet up the guys from @coldbeetrootsoup a couple of years ago during a meeting in The Hague, and since then, I wanted to try it for myself. And last weekend we were in Madrid and whent for lunch in a Polish restaurant.
I love the decorations in here.
We ordered cold beetroot soup and warm beetroot soup with mushroom dumplings. As a Dutch person, I prefer warm soups, and this one was truly delicious. It is very rich in spices and strong of taste. The coldbeetroot soup was a bit milder and softer of teast. It was okay, but i preferred the hot soup.
We also ordered dumplings with potatoes and cheese, buckwheat, mushrooms, and some meat dumplings. I dont know what kind of meat it was, but everything was very delicious.
And as dessert we had tree different slises if cake, cheesecake, appelpei and special herbs cake. I have no clue what that was, but it was delicious. And as a bad foodies influencer, I didn't take a picture of that desert. I am still learning.
