One of the greatest guilty pleasures that we all have is indulging in food that can keep us activated for hours.
For me, I love to eat desserts, especially ice cream and anything cold. There is a famous yogurt shop, Llaollao pronounced as ”Yaw-Yaw” that opened months ago here in Cebu City, Philippines and it has been flocked in so many department stores and malls.
Whenever I pass by malls which has Llaollao branches, I don't have the energy to line up since it takes up most of my time. However, today since I had ample time and nothing to do at the mall, I finally decided to join the crowd and line up at the famous yogurt shop. Here in our province of Cebu, Llaollao has several branches. Apart from this branch here in Ayala Center Cebu, they also have other branches at SM City Cebu and SM Seaside but I chose to visit the Ayala Center Cebu branch since I have some errands to do. I will share my first Llaollao experience and take you through my experience.
The newly opened Llaollao branch in Ayala Center Cebu is the first of its kind here in the Cebu Province.
It is situated on the second floor of the Ayala Center Cebu Mall and the nearest entrance is across the Ayala Jeepney Terminal.
The location is easily accessible if you are entering from the Ayala Jeepney terminal entrance.
A large signboard will guide you to the store, as shown in the photos I posted. There is usually a long queue of people waiting to try their yogurt and I am excited to taste it and see if the hype is worth it.
As you wait in line, the crew will come up to you with their menu. Simply jot down your order on the small piece of paper they provide and take it with you to the cashier when it's your turn. You can pay directly using cash, or opt for the convenience of cashless payments via Gcash or card. This helps streamline the process and reduces your wait time.
So, the first thing that you have to do is you have to choose what variety of combinations you want to choose from in the photo. Provides in the photos I stated above are all the options and the prices. I chose to get Sanum (petit) for ₱199.00.
For sanum, I can add two fruits, so I chose to add mango and strawberry.
For the sauce, I chose milky candy caramel.
For the crunch, I chose chips ahoy.
What I love most about this yogurt shop is that they prepare everything in front of you. They have a clear display of all the fresh ingredients, fruits, and crunches so you can see everything that goes into your cup. Additionally, they also display all the cup sizes available so you can choose the perfect size for your craving.
After five minutes of waiting, Tadaaaah! Here is my order:
The yogurt at this shop truly lives up to its hype. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. The taste is exceptional, and the texture is incredibly smooth. I paired it with fresh strawberries and mangoes, and the caramel sauce complemented the flavor perfectly. It's no wonder why so many people are flocking to this shop for this delicious treat. Every scoop is worth the price, and I will definitely be coming back for more.
Til my next food adventure! Ciao!☺︎♡
