Hello, friends, food lovers, and fellow community members! Today, I made some delicious sweet and sour chicken, and it was easy to prepare. I often make this dish with various variations, but today I decided to share this particular recipe with all of you.
Ingredients

2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper
3 tsp chili vinegar
3 tsp soy sauce
1/4 onion slice
Vegetables
2 medium onions chopped into cubes and separated into all layers.
1/2 cup chopped pineapple.
1 green paprika
1/2 red paprika, chopped ginger, and garlic according to your taste.
1/2 lime
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp oil.

600 grams of chicken with bones added with 1tsp turmeric and 1 tsp salt.

First, I coated the chicken pieces with turmeric, salt, and the juice of 1/2 lime. Set aside.

prepared the sweet and sour sauce by mixing together the tomato puree, sugar, salt, chili powder, black pepper, chili vinegar, soy sauce, and 1/2 lime juice. kept this mixture also aside.

Heated a pan and added 2 tbsp of oil.

Once the oil was warm, I added the small pieces of onion and sautéed them until translucent.

After the onion became translucent, I added chicken pieces to the pan and fried them thoroughly until they were cooked about 80%.

I then removed the chicken pieces from the pan and placed them on a plate, keeping the remaining oil and fat in the pan.

Using the same pan and the remaining oil, I sautéed all the vegetables, including slices of ginger and garlic,

Next, I added the chicken pieces back to the vegetables and stirred well.

I poured sweet and sour sauce into the mixture and stirred until everything was nicely coated. Then, I added 1/2 cup of water.

I covered the pan and cooked the mixture on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.

Meanwhile, I made a slurry. I added 2 teaspoons of cornstarch to the water in a bowl to make a slurry.

Once I checked and confirmed that the chicken was fully cooked, I added the cornstarch slurry to the mixture.

I stirred well and cooked for another 3-4 minutes on low heat

The chicken was finished cooking,

Roasted 1 tbsp white sesame seeds.

I sprinkled the sesame seeds and a few chopped coriander leaves on top.

served with plain rice with a few sesame seeds on top.
