Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am once again joining the weekly contest Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Chocolate. This week's challenge is to prepare a recipe with one of our favorite ingredients: chocolate.
I decided to make a cold cake, so I didn't need an oven. I used Maria cookies as the base and chocolate pudding for the filling between the cookie layers. For the topping, I melted baking chocolate, mixed it with condensed milk, and finished it off with white chocolate chips. I was a little nervous about making this simple recipe because it was my first time. The good news is that everyone at home was happy with the result and asked for seconds of this chocolatey dessert.
-200 grams of milk chocolate for baking
-200 grams of condensed milk
-10 packs of Maria cookies (each pack contains 4 cookies)
-1 1/4 liters of cow's milk
-2 50-gram packets of chocolate pudding mix
-White chocolate chips to taste
1.-. In a pot, add one liter of milk, add the two packets of chocolate pudding powder, and dissolve.
2.-. Cook the chocolate pudding over medium-low heat until the mixture thickens. Turn off the heat and let cool to room temperature.
3.-. In a cup, place 200 grams of condensed milk, remove 200 grams of chocolate from the packaging, and melt it in a double boiler. Then, mix the melted chocolate with the 200 grams of condensed milk.
4.- Add 3 tablespoons of the melted chocolate with the condensed milk and mix it with the chocolate pudding.
5.- Soak the cookies in the remaining 1/4 liter of milk and assemble the first layer of cookies, placing them in a square glass dish. Then add a portion of the pudding mixture with the melted chocolate and spread it over the entire surface. Repeat the same procedure, alternating between layers of cookies and the pudding mixture with melted chocolate.
6.- For the final layer, spread the mixture of melted chocolate and condensed milk and decorate with white chocolate chips. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
We serve this delicious cold chocolate dessert.

Hola mafalda, bueno, yo no soy muy amiga del café y el maní, jeje, sin embargo, me parece una buena alternativa. Gracias por pasar y por tu apoyo. Saludos.

That looks delicious! I had not heard of a cold cake before. It looks like it turned out very well.
Wow, I love cakes. I like how you sued simple ingredients like Cookies and chocolate pudding to create creamy dessert.
