Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am once again joining the weekly contest Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Overnight Oats. Overnight oats—yum! It’s a dish that’s eaten cold and requires no cooking. I found it interesting to learn what the recipe is all about and to take part in this new weekly challenge organized by the @qurator team.

This is my first overnight oats recipe. How is it made? You mix raw rolled oats with liquid ingredients like milk (dairy or plant-based), yogurt (plain or Greek), or both. The oats will absorb the liquid and take on a pudding-like consistency. You can add chia seeds, fruit, and sweeteners like syrup or honey. Overnight oats need time to rest to achieve that creamy texture—about 6 hours, or a minimum of 4—so you can't be impatient.

The recipe is simple; since it requires several hours of resting time, it is perfect for preparing at night to enjoy for breakfast the next morning—and it is very healthy. This dish is rich in fiber, filling, and highly nutritious. I would have liked to add chia seeds, but the shop that sells them was closed. The result was very natural, as the recipe contains no honey or other sweeteners; I enjoyed this overnight oats dish with the flavors of strawberries and vanilla, along with the gentle aroma of cinnamon.

Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup cow's milk
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

4.- After some time has passed, we remove the container from the refrigerator and notice that the consistency has changed from liquid to creamy.

5.-. We wash the strawberries—we'll use three—remove the stems, cut them into small pieces, add them to the oats, and mix everything very well.
