Grabbing Nigerian snack; egg roll.

Snacks can be taken in the absence of food, though some of them can be taken in-between meals in small quantity, of which egg roll is not an exception. Nigerian egg is one of the most snacks thats rich in nutrients as it contains most if not all the classes of food.

It was a boring day, as i had no where to go and no friend to visit. I do not want a heavy food this afternoon so i decided to make this yummy egg roll for the family.

Ingredients for the egg roll

  • 400g of all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 20g of baking powder
  • 5 medium egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 300ml of vegetable oil
  • 1 sachet of milk
  • 30ml of water

Step one
This first stage is called dry to dry. You'll sieve the flour and Pour in the sugar to the flour, salt, baking powder, and the milk.


After the dry to dry, poured in the water, and nidded it well then set aside.

Step two
I boiled my egg for ten minutes then peel it.

Step three
It's at this stage that you mould it. I moulded it into sizeable shapes, set it aside and put my oil on fire.

The oil is heated already, i put it in small quantity and fry on low heat till i finished it.

Here, the egg roll is ready. You can serve will freshly squeezed juice or any other drink of your choice.
