Namaste🙏 Dear Friends, Today I am here with North Indian’s special sweet dish name “GUJHIYA” recipe, which is stuffed with MAWA(Maked from Milk), nuts/ dry fruits, sugar, granulated wheat and finally fried over oil(For fry you can use Mustard oil or Ghee or any Refine oil). This "GUJHIYA" name is different in different states of INDIA.
Especially we make it on festivals like “Diwali, Holi”. But some time we made it on family special occasions.

** GUJHIYA Sweet DISH PREPARATION Step by step wise**
- First we make a refined wheat flour (Maida) dough, first we add some ghee on this and mix it well.
- After adding the water we we make dough and then cover it with a cloth.
Now prepare the stuffing with the help of the items below.
1.Soogi(granulated wheat)
2.Mawa (Thickened milk)
3.Sugar
4.Cardamoms
5.Raisins, Cashew nuts, Almonds (All chopped)
6.Ghee (Clarified butter)
First we take Ghee in a wide Pan and after getting heat we add the Soogi on it and fry till it became brown and then we add all above mentioned items and mix it well.
Now your filling stuff is ready and keep it on big bowl..
Preparation of the GUJHIYA making with the help of one plastic shape.
First, we make a small balls of dough and make a round shape of it as shown in images.
Now take this round shape and keep it on plastic shape and fill the stuffing on it below the cover and press it well.
Now raw GUJHIYA is ready, you can see a beautiful shape came after opening it. Now you can prepare your all GUJHIYA..
Now finally you are ready to cook gujhiya. So, we need a deep pan to fry it.
Now add ghee on pan, keep ghee at least “gujhiya” will be completely dip on it. Keep flame high while ghee will become heat and then keep it on medium flame and fry the “gujhiya” till it became brown and then keep it on dry plate.
Now Yummy “Gujhiya” is ready to eat… See below images and comments...
