All I could think about after spending a long and tiring morning with my company visit to my OJTs was a satisfying lunch to help me recharge. With back-to-back talks and company inspections, the visit had been fruitful but exhausting. Luckily, my husband had volunteered to be my motorcycle driver (it’s actually my first time riding his new ride) for the day, making the commute much easier. By the time we wrapped up, my energy was running low, we were so hungry, and we knew exactly where we wanted to go for lunch—Sushi Station.
Even though we had been to Sushi Station before, I was excited to try it again. Our initial visit had been good, but there were still a few dishes I wanted to try. It was the ideal spot for me and my husband to relax and treat him, after a long morning because both of us loved Japanese food.
The usual atmosphere greeted us as soon as we entered. The staff showed us to our table. It was a bit crowded at that time because it’s peak hours. We quickly looked over the menu in the tablet because we were so hungry.
We started with a plate of salmon sashimi and tuna sashimi, both arriving beautifully arranged and brimming with freshness. I was in sushi bliss after just one bite—the tuna tasted clean and creamy with a pinch of wasabi, and the salmon's buttery texture melted in my mouth with ease. We also got the salmon overload roll and kani mango roll for variation, and all were overflowing with flavors and textures that went well together. My husband was not a fan of the salmon roll but for me, I liked it. I also ordered a Katsudon for the main course just like the last time because my husband wasn’t able to try it since I shared it with our daughter. Comfort food at its best, the crispy breaded pork cutlet was served over warm rice and covered in a savory-sweet sauce.
At first, we considered ordering dessert, but we were so full from our meal that we decided to skip it this time. Everything we ordered was really good, making this visit even more satisfying than the last.
Well, our second visit to Sushi Station indeed was great just like our first visit. We’re definitely coming back again!
