After camping in our beach lot for 4 days, it was time to go home, but before we would leave to Santa Ana, we decided to visit Barra de Santiago beach, which is located next to our beach.
Barra de Santiago is a big, tourist beach with a lot of rental properties, stores and restaurants.
The last time we were in Barra de Santiago was five years, so we thought we will do a quick visit.
Because it was lunch time, we decided to have some food in one of the restaurants on the beach. Well, it's not like a normal restaurant, but more like a place where people can come to the beach for half a day or even a full day and enjoy the beach, pool and alsk have a plenty of shade to hide from the sun. And of course you can order some delicious food dishes, like seafood dishes and drinks.
When you go to these restaurants at the beach, you can stay there as long as you want and you can enjoy the beach and swim also, but because we are just coming back from the beach, we just had a quick lunch.
There is also a pool that you can use, so most people stay here for at least half a day.
While waiting for our food, one of the fisherman who lives next door came to us offering fresh fish to take home.
We checked the fish he had caught in the morning and we decided to buy some. Good thing that we had a cooler in our truck. All we had to do is just buy some ice.
While we enjoyed our delicious food, which was fried fish and some shrimp, the fisherman would clean all the fish for us and even cut the bigger fish into fillets.
We were glad that we decided to stop by in Barra de Santiago and enjoy some seafood and we got a lot of fresh fish to take home.
