One thing that you will see a lot in El Salvador, that you would not see in Canada is how a lot of drinks are served in a plastic bags.

You can buy pop drinks, juices and even water in plastic bags, and that includes coconut. This kind of drinks are served when you buy them on the street from vendors. You can also buy cut up fruits in a bag and fried yucca with some lime, salt and hot sauce etc.

Every day there is a guy ( vendor) selling coconut, by driving on his motorbike in our neighbourhood and sometimes we would buy a coconut, if our coconuts are not ready yet.

You can buy coconut water with the coconut meat, like we did, or you can just buy coconut water by itself. The cost is $1.25 each.

We usually pour our coconut in a cup, but just to demonstrate you one way you can buy coconut here, I decided to drink it from the bag.

This way of selling the coconut, is just an easier way for the vendors to sell the coconuts on the streets and it works and it's delicious.

Thank you for your visit and your support. Have a wonderful Sunday, everone.

I am a great supporter of @familyprotection which is working very hard to help the families stay together and this project is the most
amazing project that I would suggest for everyone in this hive community to check it out and support it and by doing it we are helping people in need who are trying to keep their kids safe from being taken away (kidnapped) by the Social Services. Here is the link Click here

Thank you for visiting my post. If you like it, please don't forget to Upvote, Follow, and Rehive, it is very, very appreciated. Any suggestions are alway very welcome so that I can keep improving in this community. God Bless!

Here, we can’t buy coconut water unless we buy the whole fruit

Hi @joalvarez

We always expect more effort from our users, not a simple post like this. And please, read our community rules, especially number 4, which says:

Every user new to Hive, or new to Foodies Bee Hive, must include a minimum of three photos showing their face (of the total number of photos in each post), making their recipes.

So in your next posts, we hope you respect this rule. We hope to see you cooking your recipes in photos, your face.

We also recommend that you read this post carefully, it explains each of our community rules:
