Since it was the Kaamulan Festival in my hometown, one of the Japanese restaurants had a place inside the field of the Kaamulan Ground. Since my family had a business coming into the area, I thought it was time to experience the place. I have always wanted to try the ramen here in my hometown to see if their flavor could compare to the ones I tasted in the big cities.
When I arrived, I asked the cashier for their best-selling ramen, and she recommended the Ukyo ramen, so I decided to order that. She also mentioned another popular dish, a maki roll called Mango Chizo. I can't remember the exact name, but I ordered it as well to see how it compared to Honyaki, the other Japanese restaurant in my hometown. These two restaurants are the only ones in Bukidnon, you see.
I ate my ramen and maki well because I was really hungry. I hadn’t eaten breakfast when I woke up this day, and my parents had already said we should get going to Malaybalay City. We arrived around lunchtime, so it turned out to be my brunch. The ramen was delicious, especially the mango maki chizo, which had a fantastic flavor combination. I’m curious about their other ramen dishes, so I might try them next time if I have enough money! Hahaha!
I tend to do this, save the best for last kind of shot hahaha

While walking around the Grand Capitol after having lunch, I noticed the contestants practicing their performances for the upcoming street dancing competition. I refrained from watching them too closely so I wouldn't spoil myself for the actual event. I'm excited to see their performances during the street dancing!
