My recent short one week break to Cyprus was well worth it to get some sunshine and Vitamin D.
It was my birthday week and I was visiting my brother and his wife.
An added bonus was that my girlfriend from South Africa joined us so she was there for my birthday and of course Valentines Day.
So, on Valentines Day we had a delicious braai /barbecue and in the evening we went to a movie showing in a temporary venue on the marina set up with bean bags and we were each given some popcorn, a small bottle of prosecco, an italian sparkling wine and a heart chocolate.

My birthday the day after Valentine's Day we had a superb Pizza meal at Margherita's on the promenade.

The food was outstanding, the view was magnificent and the company was great. This was a wonderful Birthday dinner and memory.
We were definitely looked after and well fed. This with the sunshine made it a very worthwhile break from the cold and grey in Amsterdam at present.
