The best croissant I've ever had was also in France when I was visiting a friend in Cannes some years ago. In the morning she went to the boulangerie downstairs from her apartment and came with the most delicious fresh buttery croissants 😋
Ah then you had the best croissants I would say. When I was having the croissants in Paris, I thought that no other place could make such authentic buttery croissants. I tried croissants in Rome also but it was so different and it had flavors. The smell of the fresh croissant is divine and if you add jam, it tastes more delicious... In the Netherlands, they don't have such croissants, unfortunately.
By the way, are you planning to visit France in the near future?

Ah nice, I am considering going to HF but need to manage a few things before planning for HF. That's why I haven't booked any tickets... I hope to see you there if I can make it...
