Greetings my friends, I hope you are well, and this week is successful, today I share with you the recipe for a very popular dessert in my country, (Venezuela), I am talking about a delicious Flan, I grew up watching my grandmother, mother and aunts cooking This delicacy, normally, was made to accompany the cake on a birthday, or some family gathering, on this occasion, I bring you a recipe a little different from the one I was used to making, to this flan I am going to add cream cheese, I had never done it this way, so today, I wanted to try it, and of course share it with all of you. We start with the step by step.
Delicious Caramel Flan with cream cheese

Ingredients:

5 Eggs.
1 can of evaporated milk.
1 can of condensed milk.
120 gr of Cream Cheese.
A tablespoon of vanilla.
For the caramel.
1/3 cup of sugar.
A tablespoon of water.
Preparation
1- First we are going to prepare the caramel, for this, we add sugar and water to a baking mold, we let it cook over medium heat, until the sugar begins to melt and the caramel forms little by little, when we see Once it is golden brown, we remove it from the heat.


2- Once the Caramel is ready, spread it throughout the mold and let it rest while we integrate the ingredients to make the flan.

3- In the blender we add the eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk, vanilla, cream cheese, and beat until all the ingredients are well mixed.




4- After everything is well mixed, we add the mixture to the mold with the caramel, we cover it very well, I put aluminum foil on it, and then I cover it.

5- We put it in the oven, in a bain-marie, that is, the mold with the mixture, I am going to place it in a larger mold with boiling water, and I put it in the oven for approximately 1 hour.


6- After the time has passed, we remove it from the oven. We can make sure that our flan is cooked if we poke it with a toothpick and it comes out clean. We let it cool and then put it in the refrigerator for approximately 3 hours, and then we unmold it and enjoy the flavor of this delicious dessert.
