Sure you enjoyed that coffees & cake--beautiful color!--I've never tried jackfruit or jackfruit cake, and I have no idea of how I might smell, but I've heard many people love it and use it for sweet and savory dishes.

A fruit that I would miss a lot? One of them would be Níspero. When I was little, my father used to take me to a cafe where they served a delicious níspero shake.

        Oh, I also had that tree in my house when I was a kid. The fruit was very sweet and had a bit of a distinctive aroma. It wasn't very popular so there was only a small amount of stock in the market for it.
