En ésta ocasión, vengo a dejarles por aquí plasmada, la que fue nuestra cena de año nuevo, una cena muy diferente a lo que estamos acostumbradas mi hermana y yo, primero, porque las anfitrionas, quienes organizamos y elaboramos toda la comida fuimos ella y yo, y segundo porque jamás en la vida, habíamos cenado pasticho en estas fechas, quizá para muchos sea super normal, pero para nosotras fue extraño jajaja
On this occasion, I come here to let you know what was our New Year's dinner, a very different dinner from what my sister and I are used to, first, because the hosts, who organized and prepared all the food were she and I, and second because we had never in our lives, had pasticho for dinner on these dates, maybe for many it is super normal, but for us it was strange hahaha.
Resulta ser que este año, a mi hermana desafortunadamente le tocó pasar las fiestas decembrinas sin su esposo, ya que el tuvo que emigrar en busca de un mejor futuro para su familia, nuestros padres, que es con quien por lo general cenamos, se reunieron en casa de mi hermano y nosotras decidimos hacer una pequeña cena junto a un amigo y su papa que tambien estan solos en la ciudad.
It turns out that this year, my sister unfortunately had to spend the holidays without her husband, since he had to emigrate in search of a better future for his family. Our parents, who are the ones we usually have dinner with, met at my brother's house and we decided to have a small dinner together with a friend and his dad, who are also alone in the city.
Nuestro amigo, propuso realizar un pasticho que fuera acompañado del tradicional pernil, la ensalada de pollo y la infaltable hallaca, obviamente al principio no entendimos la combinación pero, aunque fue bastante diferente a lo que acostumbramos, debo aceptar que estuvo riquísimo y que quizá en los proximos años, coloque esa opción sobre la mesa, literalmente jajaja
Our friend proposed to make a pasticho that was accompanied by the traditional pernil, chicken salad and the inevitable hallaca, obviously at first we did not understand the combination but, although it was quite different from what we are used to, I must accept that it was delicious and that maybe in the next few years, I will put that option on the table, literally hahaha.
Cabe destacar que yo sólo fuí la asistente de mi hermana puesto que la sazón, en su totalidad, fue de ella, todo quedó absolutamente exquisito. Espero con las fotitos se imaginen lo deliciosa que estuvo nuestra cena de fin de año. Un placer saludarlos. ✨
