Today, finally, I made a snack that I have seen a lot in TicTok, my son had already been telling me about this corn-based dips to go with tortillas like “nachos”. I wanted to try it to see if it was really as tasty as they said.
In addition to corn, it has heavy cream, mayonnaise, white cheese, a little lemon juice and some spice (I omitted the latter). Join me to see how I made it and what I thought of the result. I added a touch of fresh parsley. I indicate some of the amounts I used, the rest I added by eye percent. It is a recipe to test with the ingredients.

Hoy, por fin, he hecho un snack que lo he visto mucho en TicTok, mi hijo ya tenía tiempo hablándome de este dips a base de maíz para acompañar con tortillas tipo "nachos". Quería probarlo para ver si realmente era tan rico como decían.
Además de maíz, lleva crema de leche, mayonesa, queso blanco, un poco de jugo de limón y algo de picante (éste ultimo lo omití). Acompáñame para ver como lo hice y que me pareció el resultado. Le añadí un toque de perejil fresco. Indico algunas cantidades que utilicé, el resto lo añadí al ojo por ciento. Es una receta para ir testeando con los ingredientes.

Maiz en granos
1/2 lata de crema de leche
1 cucharada de mayonesa
1/2 jugo de limón
Queso blanco semiduro
Hojas de perejil fresco
Sal al gusto
Tortillas o galletas saladas para acompañar

Aunque en la receta que vi, ponían la crema de leche directamente al recipiente, yo quise calentarla un poco, así que la puse en la olla y la dejé sólo unos pocos minutos hasta que quedara tibia, añadí los granos de maíz, removí y dejé enfriar.
Although in the recipe I saw, they put the heavy cream directly into the pot, I wanted to heat it up a bit, so I put it in the pot and left it just a few minutes until it was lukewarm, added the corn kernels, stirred and let it cool.
Ahora pasé la mezcla a un bol para combinar con el resto de los ingredientes, este proceso es muy rápido, menos de 5 minutos.
Exprimí medio limón y añadí la mayonesa, la sal, el perejil picado y el queso . Lo probé y necesitaba un poco más de sal, mezclé de nuevo para irnos a emplatar.
Now I transferred the mixture to a bowl to combine with the rest of the ingredients, this process is very fast, less than 5 minutes.
I squeezed half a lemon and added the mayonnaise, salt, chopped parsley and cheese. I tasted it and it needed a little more salt, I mixed it again to go to plate.
¿Que, que me pareció? Deliciosoooo, con estos ingredientes queda muy bien ¿lo repetiría de nuevo ? Si, y hasta le haría algunas variantes como por ejemplo añadiendo unos trocitos de tocineta o cebollín picadito. Pero así tal cual, les adelanto que un solo paquete de tortillas no será suficiente ¡querrán comer más y más!
What did I think? Deliciousoooo, with these ingredients it looks great, would I repeat it again? Yes, and I would even make some variations such as adding a few pieces of bacon or chopped chives. But just as it is, I'm telling you that just one package of tortillas will not be enough, you will want to eat more and more!
