Whenever we travel, we want to experience the authentic taste of that place , Which makes our trip special and memorable.
Today I want to share such an experience with all of you. This is an experience from Gujarat, a special state of India. And this experience of mine is a year old…but it is so memorable that I want to share it today.
Even I have been living in Gujarat for the last four years but last year when i visited to Ahmedabad, a beautiful city of Gujarat state , i went to gordhan thal with my family.

Here you can see how beautiful the entrance is. I really like that elephant design. This is a busy place, there are some chairs outside for those who wait for their turn.
Luckily that day we didn't have to wait , i just captured this picture in hurry ... because that day we was so hungry 😛.
If you know Indian culture you know that these 10 days are so big for us... because of ganapati celebration. That time was also Ganpati celebration time and this is Ganpati of Gordhan Thal...we first had darshan of Bappa , seeking blessings and then went inside .
There were 5 of us, as soon as we reached our table we saw this plate.
Look at the Cutlery set. Traditional and luxurious . How big the plate is and there are so many bowls. It was my first experience And I was thinking that today I am going to have a lot of fun with lots of tasty food.
And in just a few minutes special Gujarati food was served in front of us. There were some Rajasthani items in it too but the taste was all Gujarat special. There was Bhakri, basundi, halwa, dhokla, dal bati , kaddi , roti , dal , roll , papad , buttermilk and many more.
I really liked the basundi and halwa from there...And the most exciting thing was that everything was unlimited, you could get any refill you wanted. And we enjoyed eating tasty food to our heart's content 😀😀.
Here a glimpse of sitting area. The interior, food, serving all are really good and the restaurant is really so effordable. This is a popular place of that city and i must say This was a great experience.
