It's been a while now friends 🤗. Hope you all are doing good 😊. I'm delighted to write once again on how I prepared a simple yet delicious jellof rice with some veggies.
Main Ingredients:
3cups of rice
2 sactchet tomato paste
1 big bulb of onion 🧅
5pcs of 🥕 carrots
1kill of green beans 🫛
1 spoon of red beans 🫘
1 and half cup of crayfish
3big size of fresh pepper
Vegetable oil
3 cups of water
2 teaspoon of salt
2 seasoning cubes
Step 1 preparation:
I washed all the veggies and onions and cut it to a desired shape separately and also blended my pepper and crayfish
Step2:
I rinsed my cooking pot and boiled water to parboil the rice, after parboiling it i washed it to remove excess starch then seive it out and kept it aside
Step3:
I have to make a stew with the ingredients before adding the parboiled rice. So i dried my pot and added a vegetable oil, the next thing I added was my cutted onions and small quantity of carrots, i stirred very well before adding my tomato paste to dry along. I stirred continuously up to 2 minutes before adding my green beans 🫛, allowing it to steam for 2 more minutes
Step4: I added the blended crayfish, salt and pepper together and also stirred up very well
Step5:
Next thing is to add water that will be enough to cook the rice, i poured in 3cups of water and cover the pot to boil very well l.
Step6:
I poured the the parboiled rice into the stew water and covered it to be done
Step7:
Hurray 😋, my jellof rice is steaming and getting ready to be served 😋
Finally, my rice is ready to be served hot hot 🥵, i sprinkled the remaining cutted carrots to my jellof rice..is so so yummy 😋 and delicious and i bet you want to have a taste 🤗 😆
