I woke up this morning feeling so 'perhaps'. smiles
Hoping that this public holiday would be so productive. Yea it is a public holiday due to the Eid El Fitr of our muslim brethren in this part of the country. So, no school or any curricular activities; The thought of this alone leaves a kind of butterflies in my belly; funny right? Please don't call me a lazy student. Just that we're going to have more time and freedom to go about other extra-curricular activities we might wish to engage in as students.
After my quiet time or devotion, I wrote down my activities in order of priority in which the core one entails eating good food. Emphasis on the good food because, what?! I haven't eaten any reasonable food for the past two weeks in this school. So, I just decided to be intentional to treat myself with a delicious meal starting from my breakfast.
this is me early this morning
Guess what I later had for breakfast. got it? It was porridge honey beans and milky custard gruel!
INGREDIENTS:
Your already picked honey beans
Your grounded pepper to make it spicy
Iodized salt to taste
Grounded crayfish
Red/palm oil
seasoning cube
a ball of onions
PROCEDURES
- wash your already cooked beans and put in a pot of boiling water.
- Parboil for about 10-12 minutes
- wash again and sieve into a separate bowl
- to your empty pot on fire, pour in the already washed beans,
- Pour in an adequate amount of red/palm oil.
- Then slice in your onions, add salt, grounded pepper, grounded crayfish and seasoning cube to taste
