Merry Christmas, dear foodies!
When we arrived in Cubiro, Lara state, we were quite hungry, and although we had been looking for a place to eat along the way, we weren't too keen on stopping, so we went with the first option we found in town. The restaurant is called La Primera, and it's also a brewery.

The place seems to be frozen in time. It has spacious facilities and is very simple. On its walls are some antique objects such as telephones, wooden canes, a washing tub, and tools for tilling the soil, which I found quite interesting, as well as shelves with containers and cans of different beers, whiskey, and liquors from different eras, radios, and even sewing machines.
The atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful, with a lovely wooden play area for the little ones. When we arrived, there were only two other people there. As for the menu, there were only two options: chicken or pork. We chose the former, with a few side dishes.
In 20 minutes our food was on the table. There was a lot of it, and it looked tempting and very healthy. The chicken breast was served with salad, rice, French fries, and plantain slices, and we were also given a little tartar sauce to go with it.
I must say that the food was delicious. The chicken breast was a good size and had just the right amount of seasoning, which gave it a rich flavor. The ingredients in the raw salad were very fresh, the rice was fluffy, and the plantain and potato slices were cooked to perfection. The only thing missing was a piece of cheese. By the way, the tartar sauce was an excellent dressing for the salad.
I really liked that the food was homemade, made with a lot of seasoning and love. My palate also had a great and unforgettable gastronomic experience, which left me with a great impression of my first meal at Cubiro.

Cuando llegamos a Cubiro estado Lara, teníamos bastante apetito y aunque estuvimos buscando un lugar en donde comer en el camino, no estábamos muy convencidos de detenernos así que la primera opción que encontramos en el pueblo fue la que tomamos, el restaurante lleva por nombre La Primera, también es una cervecería.
El sitio parece estar detenido en el tiempo, tiene unas amplias instalaciones y es muy sencillo, en sus paredes a encuentran algunos objetos antiguos como teléfonos, bastones de madera, una batea para lavar e instrumentos para arrear la tierra, lo cuál me pareció bastante interesante, al igual que estantes con recipientes y latas de distintas cervezas, whisky y licores de distintas épocas, radios y hasta máquinas de coser.
El ambiente del lugar es ameno y tranquilo, tiene una linda área de juegos hechos de madera para los más pequeños de la casa, cuando llegamos solo habían dos personas en el lugar, en cuanto al menú solo habían dos opciones, pollo y cerdo, nosotros elegimos la primera, con algunos contornos.
En 20 minutos nuestra comida estaba en la mesa, se veía gran cantidad de la misma, también provocativa y muy saludable, los contornos de la pechuga de pollo eran ensalada, arroz, papas fritas y tajadas, también nos sirvieron un poco de salsa tártara para acompañar.
Debo decir que la comida estaba deliciosa, la pechuga de pollo tenía un buen tamaño y los condimentos necesarios los cuales le aportaba un rico sabor, los ingredientes de la ensalada cruda estaban muy frescos, el arroz bien suelto y las tajadas de plátano y papas estaban perfectamente cocidas solo les faltaba un pedazo de queso, por cierto, la salsa tártara fue un excelente aderezo para la ensalada.
Me gusto mucho que la comida era casera, hecha con mucha sazón y amor, además mi paladar tuvo una gran e inolvidable experiencia gastronómica, lo cuál hizo que me llevará una gran impresión de mi primera comida en Cubiro.
