Hello, fellow foodies! I hope you are all doing well and wish you a happy new year.
Each of my trips is accompanied by good food. During my visit to Lara State, we had lunch at the restaurant La Primera during lunchtime, where we enjoyed delicious food. but our dinner that day and breakfast the next day were at the restaurant at the Posada El Encanto de Cubiro, and today I want to share a little bit about this experience with you.
Dinner was not included in our stay. To be honest, I don't remember the menu options, I just remember that we wanted to eat hamburgers, so we asked what options they had available and chose three beef burgers with fries and malt. The guy who served us told us they were small, so we thought three would be enough to satisfy our appetite.
When the burgers arrived, we were surprised by their size, which was more than we expected. I quickly filled up, but I ate one burger and half of another. They came with tartar sauce and ketchup to spread as we liked. They were delicious, and the fries were crispy, just the way I like them. We were pleased, especially with the affordable price of $7.
Then we walked through the village of Cubiro at night and ate strawberries with cream. Even though I was full, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to try a serving. The strawberries were huge and the syrup was full of sweetness, an excellent dessert that went well with the cold weather in the area.
The next day, when it was time for breakfast, we were excited because we didn't know what the food would be like, which, by the way, was included in our hotel stay. First, they served us coffee and guava juice. I was happy with the taste and aroma of the coffee, which is a must in my mornings, and the juice was freshly made and very tasty.
A few minutes later, they brought a Venezuelan-style Creole breakfast with arepas, scrambled eggs, shredded beef, and grated cheese. It looked irresistible and delicious. I must say that the only thing missing to make it perfect was beans. I fell in love with the flavor so much that my taste buds tingled with excitement at such an exquisite combination. I was very happy with the food on this trip.

Cada uno de mis viajes va acompañado con buena comida, en mi visita al Estado Lara, nuestro almuerzo fue en el restaurante La Primera durante la hora del almuerzo y donde degustamos comida deliciosa, pero nuestra cena de ese día y desayuno del día siguiente fueron en el restaurante de la Posada El Encanto de Cubiro y hoy quiero compartirles un poco esta experiencia.
La cena no iba incluida en nuestra estadía, debo ser sincera no recuerdo las opciones del menú solo recuerdo que queríamos comer hamburguesas, así que pregúntamos que opciones de ellas tenían disponibles y elegimos tres hamburguesa de carne con papas fritas y malta, el chico que nos atendió nos dijo que eran pequeñas así que pensamos que tres eran suficientes para saciar nuestro apetito.
Cuando las hamburguesas llegaron quedamos sorprendidos con el tamaño y era más de lo que esperábamos, yo me llene rápidamente sin embargo comí una hamburguesa y la mitad de otra, venían acompañadas con salsa tártara y salsa de tomate para untar como quisiéramos, estaban riquísimas y las papas crujientes como me gustan, quedamos complacidos y más con su económico precio de 7$.
Luego caminamos por el pueblo de Cubiro durante la noche y comimos unas fresas con crema, aunque estaba con la barriguita llena no quería perder la oportunidad de degustar una porción, las fresas eran enormes y su sirope lleno de dulzura, un excelente postre que combinaba con el frío de la zona
Al otro día cuando llego el momento de desayunar, estábamos a la expectativa ya que no sabíamos cuál era la comida, que por cierto si venía incluida en nuestra estadía en el hotel, primero nos sirvieron café y jugo de guayaba, yo estaba contenta con el sabor y el aroma del café que no puede faltar en mis mañanas, el jugo estaba recién hecho y muy rico.
Unos minutos después trajeron un desayuno criollo al estilo Venezolano con arepas, huevos revueltos, carne desmechada y queso rallado, se veía irresistible y delicioso, debo decir que solo faltaba las caraotas para que fuera perfecto, quede enamorada de su sabor tanto que mi paladar vibro de la emoción con tan exquisita combinación, quede muy contenta con la comida en este viaje.
