Cookies are certainly present at every celebration, aren't they? Including perhaps your Christmas celebration. Special cookies will also be one of the dishes on your special day.

I see that you do a lot of preparation every time Christmas comes around, including baking various special cakes at home. I think the idea of making cookies that can be stored for a long time can also be prepared, especially for your Christmas gifts or to serve to your special guests, especially children. Well, this time I will give you one of my simple special cookie recipes for your Christmas celebration.

Brown Sugar Cookies

Brown sugar cookies are a type of cookie that can be stored for a long time. They are made from simple ingredients such as flour, butter, and cheese as a complement. The brown sugar coating makes them even more attractive and, of course, gives them a very unique taste. The brown sugar clumps together, making this dish even more unique and giving it a harder texture, which makes the cookies crispier.

Ingredients

250 grams of low-protein flour
1 egg yolk
200 grams of butter
30 grams of caster sugar
20 grams of milk powder
¼ teaspoon of baking powder
30 grams of caster sugar
80 grams of cheddar cheese

Cooking Procedure

Bake the grated cheese until crispy and golden brown, then set aside.

Mix the butter and powdered sugar with a whisk until well blended.

Add the egg yolks and stir again until evenly mixed. Then add the powdered milk and baking powder.

Next, add the flour little by little while stirring until all the flour is used up. If it becomes too heavy, you can stir with your hands.

Finally, add the baked cheese. I forgot to add it earlier when stirring the flour, so I added it last while stirring.

Then take a teaspoon of dough and roll it into a ball, Then roll it in brown sugar.

Roll until all sides are coated with brown sugar. Then arrange them on a baking sheet, leaving a little space between them as the cookies will spread slightly during baking.

Finally, bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius until cooked through.

I'm so happy to have finished the cookies on time today. They look so cute. The brown sugar coating makes them look beautiful, and I really like that coating. The touch of brown sugar makes the cookies even more appealing.

It tastes sweet with a crispy texture on the outside and a crispy texture from the baked cheese on the inside. It's almost similar to the cookies I made some time ago, but I think these cookies have a unique flavor with a layer of brown sugar on the outside. Maybe next time I'll add a little more brown sugar to the dough to enhance the flavor.

This cake can be stored for a long time. You should store it in an airtight container with a lid, as I have done here. Store it at room temperature, but if you want to store it for more than a month, you can also store it in the refrigerator. In my opinion, this type of cake will not spoil if it is stored properly. Give the recipe a try; you will definitely love it.
