Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share a simple recipe today: chocolate-coated cookie balls. Can you believe it? These cookies broke the record—they were gone in just a few minutes when my kids all rushed to grab them. Yeah, I made these on purpose because chocolate is definitely every kid’s favorite.

These chocolate cookie balls are a combination of sweet cookies—similar to nastar cookies—with a delicious layer of melted chocolate. This is actually the first time I’ve tried making them, but I’m confident my nieces and nephews will love them. Besides the chocolate coating, these cookies have an authentic flavor and a perfectly crispy, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Just like the chocolate treats sold in bakeries, these are very similar to them. I was so lucky to find this recipe online a few days ago. Because I really intended to prepare a special treat for my nieces and nephews during the holiday season.

Ingredients

150 grams margarine
50 grams powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
240 grams all-purpose flour
25 grams powdered milk
15 grams cornstarch
250 grams chocolate bars

Cooking Procedure

Cream the butter with the powdered sugar, add the egg yolks, and beat until well combined.

Ta-da! Look at the beautiful results—they’ve all dried perfectly. I’ll put them in the fridge for a bit, then decorate them with sprinkles or any toppings you like.

It has a crispy texture and melts in your mouth; it’s not too sweet, and the chocolate coating melts and tastes incredibly rich in your mouth.
