Snacks are always a staple for anyone as a companion while relaxing with a cup of coffee in the afternoon. Enjoying the special crunchiness with sweet chocolate filling is truly delightful.

Hello foodie lovers, today I will invite you to prepare one of the simple cookie recipes. This cookie is quite popular in my area, and I'm sure it's also familiar in your area. There are two types of sus cookies that I know of: wet sus cookies that are fluffy like bread, and dry sus cookies like the ones I'm preparing today. This time, I'm going to try making dry sus cookies with chocolate filling. Initially, I planned to make moist sponge cake, but I didn't have some of the ingredients at home. Maybe another time I will try making other types of sponge cake. Now I will try making dry sponge cake with chocolate filling at home.

Dry sus cake is a type of dry cake with a crispy texture and chocolate filling inside. This pastry is a great alternative snack to keep in stock at home. It can be stored for a long time in an airtight container, so it can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere. As a lover of crispy foods, this has been one of the recipes I’ve been saving to try for a long time. However, after

Add water to the pan, then add margarine or butter and cook until melted.

Once it has melted, add all the flour while stirring. Use low heat when cooking.

Cook until the flour mixture no longer sticks to the pan.

Transfer to another container and let cool at room temperature. Then add 3 prepared eggs.

Add sugar, salt, and baking powder. You can actually add the sugar when you first make the dough, but I forgot, so I added it at the end.

Add to a triangular plastic bag, then pipe onto a baking sheet. Repeat until finished. Use a piping bag for cream puffs. Since I didn't have one, I used whatever piping bag I had available.

Bake at 150 degrees Celsius using the bottom heat first for 20 minutes, then continue using the top heat for 30 minutes at the same temperature. Or you can adjust it to your own oven.

Finally, after it's cooked, I fill the cake with chocolate. Before filling it with chocolate, make sure the cake has cooled down. Don't forget to make a hole in the bottom before filling it with chocolate.

Dry milk cakes with chocolate filling are ready to be enjoyed right out of the oven—the aroma is so enticing. Even before filling them with jam, I already started enjoying them because they are that delicious. They are very crispy and taste just right on the tongue. In my opinion, to get a long-lasting crispiness, they must be baked until golden brown so that they are super crispy.

This snack is perfect for filling Eid jars or any other holiday celebration. Maybe this Eid I should try making it again as a jar filling, who knows, my niece might really like this melted chocolate filling. For those of you who are curious about crispy sus cakes, try this recipe and you'll be hooked after trying it.

Your reflection on snacks as havens of calm resonates deeply. In the simplicity of a dry biscuit, we find not only pleasure, but the beauty of connection and creativity. The transformation from a moist to a dry biscuit is a beautiful reminder that in life, even unexpected changes can open doors to new experiences and flavours. Each bite becomes a moment of pause, a moment to savour what we have and what we can create.

Thank you very much
