Foodies, today I’m going to show you how to make a simple snack recipe: crispy potato balls stuffed with skipjack tuna floss, which I made in a previous post. I used the leftover floss from when we cooked it yesterday. Afterward, my husband suggested I turn it into something else. That’s how I came up with this simple potato-based recipe.
Crispy potato balls stuffed with skipjack tuna floss are an inspiration for those of you who want to enjoy potatoes in a different way. As you know, there are countless recipes for potatoes, including this crispy potato version. By using instant noodles, I made the potatoes extra crispy on the outside. Of course, they’re soft, savory, and slightly spicy with the tuna floss filling.

Shaped into balls with a simple filling, they’re then dipped in egg and topped with noodles. The crispiness of the outside combined with the softness of the potato layer makes this snack very different from the usual. Of course, the process is very quick—you can make them anytime and anywhere.
Ingredients

1 carrot
1 packet of instant noodles
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon bouillon
1 clove of shallot
1 egg
Preparation Instructions
Boil the potatoes and carrots until tender and fully cooked, then mash them, adding salt and bouillon powder.

Next, add the fried onions, then stir and mash; I like to keep the mixture slightly chunky.

Shape the mixture into balls and add the shredded beef filling inside, sealing all sides so the filling doesn’t leak out.

Dip in egg, then coat in crushed instant noodles until fully covered.

Then fry in hot oil until golden brown or until the outside is crispy.

Result

Serve with sauce or mayonnaise on top. Look at the result—it’s so beautiful; the combination is just right. The savory shredded meat pairs perfectly with the authentic flavor of the crispy fried instant noodle crumbs. Everything is perfect—the flavor combination is truly unique, in my opinion.
