As we know, tofu is a plant-based food that is rich in benefits and a high source of protein for vegan lovers. Usually, I process tofu into dishes that are soupy or fried. But this time I will make tofu into a unique snack that your children will surely love at home.
Rambutan Tofu Balls
Rambutan tofu balls are very popular in our area, this dish is often sold in the market with other fried snacks. Well rambutan tofu balls are processed tofu that is made round and then added with crushed tenyah instant noodles. Then fried well after being fried rambutan tofu becomes very delicious and soft inside crispy outside with a combination of savory and delicious flavors.
Here I will invite you to prepare step by step preparation to make it!.
Ingredients
1 packet of instant noodles
1 egg
1 spring onion
1 celery leaf
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon chicken stock
¼ teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground pepper
3 tablespoons tapioca flour
Cooking Procedure
Crush the tofu until crumbly using a cutlery or you can mash it.

Then add seasonings such as, chicken broth, pepper, coriander and chili powder. Add the egg then add the flour then stir until evenly distributed.
Add chopped green onions, then round and roll in the instant noodles that have been squeezed.
Roll the noodle evenly, after rolling, press a little.

I cut open the first rambutan ball and saw that the filling was very soft with an aroma that makes you hungry. The best part is that the outer layer is crispy and every bite adds a great impression. Honestly, the first time making these rambutan tofu balls was a lot of fun with results that I loved. I also highly recommend you to try it at home.
