Cooking is not necessarily difficult, but it is very easy. It requires patience in preparing whatever you have at home. When cooking, you must also be in a good mood to produce better food that will surely turn out delicious.

This time, I will invite you to prepare a simple recipe. Tofu and quail eggs are two ingredients that you can easily find. Tofu is always the right choice for making fried dishes. Besides being a quick alternative, tofu is very easy to find in my area. My neighbor has a tofu business, so I can easily find natural white tofu here.

My husband is a big fan of tofu. Usually, he enjoys it fried without any additional ingredients. This time, I will make a new surprise for him, something I have never made before.




Fried Tofu Balls with Quail Egg Filling

Fried tofu balls are a tofu dish that is fried with quail eggs as the filling. Quail eggs are smaller than duck and chicken eggs. Therefore, using this ingredient is perfect for a side dish or even a snack today.

Ingredients

3 pieces of white tofu
8 quail eggs
2 cloves of garlic
2 cayenne peppers
3 tablespoons of tapioca flour
½ teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of mushroom broth




Cooking Instructions


Use quail eggs that have been boiled and peeled until the shells are completely clean. Be careful when peeling, as quail egg shells are thin and the meat can come off.

Then, manually grind the garlic, salt, mushroom broth, and chili peppers.

Then add the white tofu and blend it together with the spices I blended earlier.

Then add flour, then add 1 egg, then shape the tofu into balls with the quail egg filling.

Then fry until golden brown in hot oil.

Look at the beautiful and delicious results. Add fresh chili peppers and enjoy it while it's hot—it's guaranteed to be delicious. Adding chili sauce is also a good idea, but I usually enjoy it with rice as a side dish. Then I combine it with onion sambal, which is spicy and very delicious. My husband loves it; he said he wants this to be his lunchbox menu when he goes to work later. Of course, this will be his lunchbox menu later because, besides being delicious, it’s also very easy to make. I’ll definitely cook this again.
