Today is a special day for me. The weather is still very unpredictable, just like yesterday after the weekend. In the afternoon and evening, it will definitely rain heavily. Yeah, weather like this will definitely make anyone at home feel hungry, right? Not only hungry, but sometimes it's also very boring. Watching TV or sleeping are alternatives to relieve that boredom. Well, today I will invite you to try a simple recipe using mushrooms and smoked beef.

Smoked Beef and Enoki Mushroom Bake

Enoki mushrooms prepared in an unusual way really piqued my curiosity. Usually, I fry enoki mushrooms or boil them in a soup with noodles. But today is different. I combined enoki mushrooms with smoked beef and then baked them. A generous sprinkling of cheese will definitely make it even more unique than usual.

Smoked beef enoki mushrooms are mushrooms combined with smoked beef. Cheese is then added on top and baked until cooked through.

Here, I will walk you through the preparation steps.

Ingredients

100 grams of enoki mushrooms
5 slices of smoked beef
2 sheets of seaweed
Mozzarella cheese to taste
⅛ onion
1 clove of garlic
1 clove of shallot
2 red chilies
3 green chilies
¼ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of mushroom broth

Cooking Procedure

  • Step 1
Chop all the ingredients, onions, chilies, and shallots, chop them according to your preference. I like to chop them finely.

For the enoki mushrooms, boil them in boiling water for about 1 to 3 minutes until the smell disappears. Remove and drain the mushrooms.

Enoki mushrooms, which used to look ordinary, have now been successfully transformed into a delicious dish. This savory food is perfect to enjoy when it's hot out of the oven after being baked at a high temperature. While it's still hot, the mozzarella is very soft and melts in your mouth. I also recommend enjoying it with chili sauce or any other sauce you like. I forgot to take a photo when I enjoyed it with sambal sauce and a little mayonnaise mix.

In my opinion, this is a very easy enoki mushroom dish to make, and it has a fantastic flavor from the soup. It's savory, salty, and spicy from the chili pieces, but the chili pieces don't make it too spicy. To suit my taste, I add chili sauce or tomato sauce on top. Doesn't it look easy? I'm sure you can all make it. As for the smoked beef, I use regular smoked beef, but if you have a more premium one, that would be better and make it even more delicious.
