The idea of creating something new by cooking instant noodles with sardines is something I’ve never done before. I know that canned fish isn’t good for you if you eat it all the time. I have two more cans of this fish, which I got as aid after the recent floods. I hardly ever buy canned fish like this because I don’t like it. Well, it just so happens that my husband likes it, and today he asked me to cook sardines with instant noodles. I thought it was a crazy idea, but he said he often enjoys noodles with sardines and thinks it's really delicious.

I tried his idea and saw it on social media. Apparently, noodles with sardines are often cooked by many people. At first, I was skeptical about whether it would taste good, but my husband's confidence made me want to try making it. I tried making a fried version because I thought it would be delicious.

By minimizing the use of sardine sauce, straining out the watery part, and using thick seasoning, it would reduce the fishy taste of the noodles. Let's get straight to the step-by-step preparation.
Ingredients

1 small can of sardines
1 clove of red onion
1 clove of garlic
1 stalk of spring onion
1 stalk of celery
3 cayenne peppers

Noodles with seasoning and sardines are ready to serve, a simple dish for my husband that I have prepared to enjoy. I added fried tofu and eggs. He was very enthusiastic when he saw his plate, everything was nicely arranged. His favorite fried noodles are now ready. He mentioned that the aroma was slightly different when he was away. Of course, he usually cooks by pouring all the sardine seasoning into the noodles. The first bite made him close his eyes in delight. He said the taste was fantastic.

The savory and spicy umami flavor, enhanced by the chili peppers I chopped, and what he liked most was that the sardine seasoning was well absorbed and the sardines were still intact. He used to make it by stirring it, which resulted in the sardines being chopped up. This time, I intentionally fried it briefly to keep the fish meat firm. The result was perfect—the sardine aroma wasn’t noticeable at all, and I loved it.
