I'm not sure if this can be called a snack or a heavy meal for lunch. What is clear is that after enjoying this dish, my satiety has doubled. I am not an expert in combining ingredients in serving food. But, you know what? This dish is indeed very tasty and will definitely become a mainstay menu at home when you have leftover rice at home.
Leftover rice or overnight rice often makes us feel bored. The only way is to prepare it as fried rice or reheat it for the next day. Yeah, it's a waste of food, isn't it? However, there's a recipe that I'm in love with this time, and it's rice, with a delicious shrimp combination.
Prawn Rice Balls
Shrimp rice balls are rice balls made with a combination of shrimp and then fried briefly to get a crispy texture on the outside of the shrimp balls. Simple and this became my meal at noon today, in my opinion this is a new discovery that must be made because it tastes that good.
Let me show you the easy cooking process of this dish!.
Ingredients Needed
- 100 grams of rice
- 3 pieces of shrimp
- 1 stalk of spring onion
- 1 celery leaf
- 1 clove shallot
- 1 clove of garlic
- 3 pieces cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
- ¼ teaspoon stock powder
Cooking Procedure
Grind the warm rice until it is smooth or no longer crunchy.
Cut the prawns and shallots and garlic into small pieces and fry them in hot oil.
Cut the celery leaves and chili with small size so that it is easy to shape.
Mix the onion and shrimp into the rice that has been mashed manually earlier. Then add the seasoning of salt, pepper and also broth powder.
Combine everything, add chopped green onions and celery and chili then stir until evenly mixed.
If it has been mixed well round it by hand manually the rice ball is done until finished.
Finally fry until golden brown, or you can also grill according to your taste.
Serving
Serve the rice balls while they are still warm, make sure your rice balls with teriyaki sauce dipping is also very good. But the original like this alone has uploaded a taste. For this recipe, I only get 10 pcs of standard sized rice balls, and I think this is only enough for 1 to 2 people to enjoy depending on the portion you enjoy.
It's so nice to be able to enjoy warm prawn rice balls with savory, spicy and delicious prawn flavor. You have to try this, the crunchy outside with the soft inside makes it so good, And worth trying at home!.
