Hello food lovers, today I'm going to show you how to make a snack recipe that is very popular in my area. This cake is usually sold hot, and is fried in hot oil when the buyer purchases it. To buy this snack, you have to be willing to wait in line because you have to wait for it to be fried.
Mayo Risol
Risol mayo is what it's called. Risol is a rolled snack made from wheat flour with various fillings. I've made risol here before with vegetable and noodle fillings. But this time, I want to try something new: risol mayo. Why is it called risol mayo? Because it's filled with mayonnaise and various other ingredients, such as smoked meat and eggs. You can also add cheese slices if you like.

Mayo risol has been very popular in my area for a long time. Mayo risol also went viral when an influencer sold it. There are many fans of mayo risol, perhaps because the taste suits the Indonesian palate. I don't know exactly where this risol comes from, but what is clear is that it still has many fans today.
Ingredients Used

- 200 grams of all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- Water as needed
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Mayonnaise to taste
- 2 hard-boiled eggs
- Several slices of smoked beef
Preparation
First, I mix the crust ingredients, which are all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and salt, stirring until well combined.

For the filling, I briefly sauté the smoked beef in a pan to ensure it cooks evenly. For the eggs, you can cut them to your liking. For the mayonnaise, I recommend using plain mayonnaise without any added flavors so that the taste is just right.

Make sure the dough is smooth and there are no lumps, then bake it on a round Teflon pan after spreading a little margarine on it.

Bake until the dough is easy to remove, then add the smoked beef filling, top with eggs and mayonnaise. Fold into a spring roll shape and repeat until all the dough is used up.

Once all the risoles are made, I save a little of the leftover dough and add water to thin it out.

Then dip the risoles into the wet flour mixture and coat them in fanir flour. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.

Results

The mayo risol is ready to serve. Serve it warm on a serving plate with chili sauce to enhance the flavor. Look at this, isn't it perfect? Everything is tempting. The combination of flavors is also perfect on my tongue, with the sourness of the mayo layer and the savory flavor. I think it's really delicious when enjoyed warm.

All the flavors come together in one bite of risol, the savory combination of boiled eggs and smoked beef gives it a spectacular taste. To be honest, this is better than the ones sold in stores. I suspect I may have added more meat here.

Well, for those of you who are curious about risol mayo, try this recipe. I'm sure you'll love it. Not only is it delicious, but it also suits everyone's taste buds perfectly.
