Enjoying Korean Food in Mid-December

Hi bloggers and community. How are you? I hope you're doing well. In my country, there are no winter or summer holidays, but as the end of the year approaches, the days feel special because the year will change in a matter of weeks.

My friends and I spend time together enjoying delicious food and sharing stories. Enjoying the food we love is one of the most enjoyable things to do with our loved ones. This time, we tried Korean food, and fortunately, our tastes are quite similar when it comes to food.

We chose a cafe that offers Korean food called Airo Kitchen & Dine Room. It was my first time here, based on a recommendation from my bestie, @sitinurfauziyyah. The place is not too big, and if you come here on the weekend, be patient because there will definitely be a waiting list. The place is comfortable and the service is also good. The atmosphere is already Christmas-themed because it's December.

Following my friend’s recommendation, who had been here three times before, we ordered The OG Gimbap Bulgogi, Kimcheese Fries, Rose Tteokboki, and Purple Rice Roll as our shared dishes, and Bulgogi Rice Bowl for my friend’s husband.

The OG Gimbap Bulgogi

This dish is the best of all, my favorite. The combination of carrots, spinach, cucumber, bulgogi beef, rolled eggs, crab sticks, danmuji/Korean white radish pickles, and burdrock wrapped in toasted seaweed and topped with roasted sesame seeds creates a sweet, savory taste, and the aroma of sesame oil gives a delightful sensation.The portion is also quite large, so it was enough to fill the four of us.

Rose Tteokboki Extra Spicy

Rice cakes with their homemade sauce are made into a spicy and creamy dish with the addition of chicken sausage, fish cakes, carrots, and chopped green onions, topped with egg and mozzarella cheese, plus ramen in a pan, making it look very tempting. The flavor is also just right, and this combination is very interesting.

Bulgogi kimbap dipped in a spicy and creamy sauce is a perfect combination.

Kimchesse Fries

This menu sounds cute. French fries served with kimchi and topped with mozzarella cheese and mayonnaise sauce provide an unexpected combination that is unusual but so good. The kimchi flavor stands out nicely when paired with the savory cheese, creating a truly delicious combination.

Purple Rice Roll

This is gimbap made from black glutinous rice filled with chicken floss, crispy flakes, cucumber, and kimchi, wrapped in seaweed and topped with mayo. The dominant flavors are kimchi, sour and spicy, with a crunchy sensation from the crispy flakes.

Overall, the place we visited this time was very good in terms of food, even though it was a little smaller, but the decor and interior were quite attractive and warm.
