Wow. I never knew water yam porridge could have a name in your dialect too. It's one of the food the Ijebu people like, my mom's favourite and I got to enjoy that meal too especially when it has a lot of proteins like ponmo, fish, crayfish etc.
It has been a long time I tasted this. I used to buy water yam but only use it for water yam balls and never thought of making porridge with it.
Nice memory of how you began eating from that age.
