A local cafe in my neighborhood is famous for its "Chewy Bread." Although it's a local shop, it has gained nationwide fame through the internet. Today, I'd like to introduce the Chewy Bread from Como Mention.
You can tell just by looking at it how delicious it must be, right? The thin crust is incredibly chewy, and it’s packed with cream cheese inside. You can feel that chewiness from the very first bite.
I brought three flavors today: my favorite yogurt, chocolate cheese, and yellow cheese.
I think it tastes best with milk rather than a soft drink or soda.
From now on, I will introduce each flavor one by one
This is my favorite, the yogurt flavor. The combination of cream cheese and yogurt creates a truly fantastic taste, and above all, I love it for its chewy texture. If you keep them in the freezer and have one with coffee whenever you want, it becomes the ultimate snack.
The second flavor is blueberry yogurt. Personally, I found the original yogurt flavor more delicious. This one has a slightly stronger taste, blending blueberry and cream cheese together. I cut the chewy bread in half—can you see how the bread stretches instead of just cutting, because it's so chewy? That’s the bread stretching, not cheese.
The third one is the yellow cheese flavor, and honestly, I was taking a bit of a risk. It turned out it's not really my style. How should I put it? It's a bit too salty. It’s okay to have just one small bite—maybe a quarter of the bread—with some coffee, but eating a whole one is way too intense for me. Still, I heard it’s actually one of their best-selling flavors.
Personally, the chocolate flavor was okay, but I don't think I would buy it again. This is because the combination of cheese and chocolate didn't seem to go well together.
Chewy Bread is also available for delivery. If you order it, it arrives frozen like this, but if you leave it out for just a little while, it thaws quickly so you can enjoy its chewy texture.
There are so many different menus to choose from. However, since each bread is quite pricey, I don't want to risk a failed experiment, so I just keep eating the flavors I already love.
There are many other delicious breads and desserts besides Chewy Bread, but Chewy Bread is definitely their most famous one.
