Acehnese grilled fish, even though I live in Aceh, this is the first time I've made Acehnese grilled fish seasoning, hehehe, it sounds strange, right? As you know, I really like grilled fish, but the grilled fish I always use is the usual grilled fish seasoning, but today my mother gave me a recipe from her youth, she said this is how Acehnese people used to make grilled fish with this seasoning, this is how my mother explained it.

From the explanation of my mother's recipe, I wrote it down on a piece of paper and the next day I immediately bought tuna to grill it with my mother's special spices.

and it turns out that when my mother was young, fish was always grilled on hot coals or steamed in banana leaves. She rarely fried fish. And if she wanted to eat it in broth, she would also cook fish in broth, unlike my life now where I often fry fish.

My mother said that fish is healthier steamed, grilled or cooked in soup than fried. I started to think that people in the past lived healthier lives than we do now. No wonder people in the past rarely got sick. Yes, even though they did get sick, there were no strange diseases like in our time.

If you are curious about the manufacturing process, just follow the steps that will be shared in my post today.

RESULTS

Here is the result of grilled fish with Acehnese spices and it is ready, this fish is very delicious, the spices are absorbed so that this fish is very aromatic, the fragrant aroma makes everyone hungry when they smell it

Moreover, it is grilled with natural embers so that anyone who enjoys it will definitely be addicted. And I wait until the fish is no longer too hot before I transfer it to a plate, and I also make a soy sauce seasoning to dip the fish in.

The fish was perfectly cooked, and we immediately enjoyed it with a plate of warm rice and a spicy, sweet, and slightly sour soy sauce. You can imagine how delicious this fish was.

Why is this fish called Acehnese grilled fish? Because the grilled fish seasoning contains Sunti acid, which is a typical Acehnese spice. That's why this grilled fish is called Acehnese grilled fish.
