asam sunti is a starfish that is dried until completely dry and also sprinkled with salt

in Aceh itself there are many food preparations made from sunti acid, this sunti acid can be added to tamarind sauce or it can also be made into sweets, it can be made into rujak, it can even be cooked with beef like this,
apart from beef, we can also make fried fish or even chicken and so on. In fact, all kinds of side dishes can be combined with this sunti acid.

It just so happens that in my house there is still leftover beef left over from yesterday's Eid al-Adha because on Eid al-Adha we usually cut cows or goats to be used as sacrificial animals.

materials used

First of all, I boiled the beef that had been cut into small pieces. I boiled it until the beef was tender until it foamed and I removed the foam and then I removed the beef.

Next, I washed the sunti sour chilies, then cut them into small pieces and then ground them using a pestle and mortar.

After I ground the spices, I then sautéed the spices until they were cooked. After the spices were cooked, I added the beef that had been boiled earlier. Next, I cook it briefly until both are mixed evenly and the spices are absorbed into the beef.

And this is the result, my sour sunti beef is ready to be enjoyed. I just took a plate of warm rice then I added the beef and immediately ate it with pleasure.

The taste of the beef is very savory, sweet and also a little spicy. Basically, the beef is cooked differently, like this and that, it tastes really delicious, because even I'm bored of eating beef rendang or soup, that's normal, so today I'm going to cook something different from usual.
