Dorayaki cake is a cake made from wheat flour coated with chocolate jam inside, this cake is very often seen in children's cartoon series, namely the Doraemon film which was a hit in the 1990s, even until now maybe yes, the Doraemon film tells the story of a cat who loves to eat dorayaki cake, and it turns out that this dorayaki cake can be made in the real world,

Want to know how to make my own version of this doraemon cake, maybe there are other versions too, but in my opinion this is already very delicious, I saw this dorayaki cake recipe on the internet, I deliberately looked for this recipe yesterday, because I was also curious about how to make this dorayaki cake.



For the first time making Dorayaki cake, I thought making this dorayaki cake was very difficult, and apparently it is very easy to make, just mix the flour with eggs then add baking powder, it has become a dorayaki cake dough, while for the jam I only use chocolate powdered milk mixed with margarine and flour, cooked until thick

Cake dough ingredients

4 tbsp flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking powder


Jam dough ingredients

2 tbsp wheat flour
2 tbsp powdered milk
1 tbsp margarine


Manufacturing procedure



First


First of all, I take granulated sugar and mix it with flour and baking powder. Next, I take an egg and break it into the flour. Then, I take about 3 tablespoons of warm water and add it to the dough. I stir it until it becomes a slightly thick dough.

Second


Next, I take the chocolate milk powder, I put it in a pan, then I add a little water, margarine, I stir it until the margarine melts, finally I add the cornstarch, I stir it again until the mixture thickens like jam, then I turn off the stove.

Third


Next, I take 1 ladle of dough and cook it on a non-stick frying pan, and so on until the dough runs out. Then I take a sheet of dough that has been baked and spread it with the chocolate jam, then I cover it again with the second layer.

My dorayaki cake is ready, ready to be served, I served it on a serving plate, for me to eat with my beloved family, especially my child, he has been impatient to taste it, mmmm it tastes delicious, sweet, like sweet martabak on the outside and also sweet on the inside with an abundant chocolate flavor

What do you guys think, is my dorayaki similar to the dorayaki in the Doraemon cartoon films, hehhee even though the appearance is a bit messy, but the taste is delicious, so delicious that I even got addicted to making it again the next day, and coincidentally the ingredients were still in the refrigerator. Earlier I deliberately didn't cook much because I was afraid it wouldn't taste good, because it was just my first try.
