Making sponge cake seems endless, as there are so many variations, and as a sponge cake lover, I'm happy to try different versions. Yesterday, I made a chocolate sponge cake, but today I'm making a white sponge cake, but I'm also sprinkling grated chocolate bars inside.
You can also sprinkle sprinkles or chocolate chips on the sponge cake; it all depends on your taste. And don't forget to make the most of whatever ingredients you have at home. Like me, I always use the ingredients I have at home. Even if the recipe isn't the same, I'm always trying to create my own version.
Look at how tempting my sponge cake is, with chocolate sprinkles inside too, this sponge cake is not baked but just steamed, friends, in my opinion baked and steamed sponge cake is equally delicious, only when it is baked it has its own aroma which is very fragrant when it comes out of the oven, but steamed sponge cake also has its own unique aroma when the lid of the steamer is opened, mmmm very fragrant

Materials used
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 sachet sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon SP
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Grated chocolate bars to taste
Manufacturing procedure
First, I broke 1 egg, and I added SP and granulated sugar, then I beat the egg until it was fluffy and white using a manual egg beater.

While beating the eggs, I added vanilla powder, then I beat again until it turned white.

After the eggs are white, I add flour, cooking oil, sweetened condensed milk and grated chocolate into the mixture, then I stir again until evenly mixed.

Next, prepare the baking pan, grease the pan with cooking oil first, then put in the cake batter, I also sprinkled grated chocolate bars on top of the cake batter, then I steamed the sponge cake for 25 minutes or until perfectly cooked.

RESULTS
and here it is, the white cake with chocolate sprinkles is ready to be enjoyed, and we can enjoy it with our family at home, with such an appetizing aroma when it is removed from the steamer, I waited until it was cold before I cut it into pieces and we enjoyed it together

The sponge cake is soft and very sweet in my opinion, maybe I sprinkled too much granulated sugar, I think so, maybe next time I will reduce the sugar, because I don't like it too sweet, but if you like sweet sponge cake, you can use my recipe, just make the sugar the same as my sugar measurement.
Basically, the texture of the sponge cake is very soft and very filling, even though you only use 1 egg and without a mixer, you can make a delicious sponge cake like this.
